VSME, CBAM, EcoVadis and CDP — the four frameworks
Same data, four shapes. Every document the Buyer Pack generates names the reference version it was built against and lists what is still missing as an explicit gap — nothing is invented to look complete.
VSME — the EU’s voluntary SME standard
VSME is EFRAG’s voluntary sustainability reporting standard for non-listed SMEs (December 2024). Its Basic module (sections B1–B11) is becoming the default format EU buyers use to request ESG data from smaller suppliers. SOLANIQ fills it with your measured emissions and energy, cited paragraph by paragraph against the standard.
CBAM — what your EU importer files
The CBAM sheet mirrors the European Commission’s communication template: per-good embedded emissions, the electricity emission factor used, and the methodology notes your importer needs for their declaration. New to CBAM? Start with What is CBAM.
EcoVadis (indicative)
EcoVadis is a paid supplier-ratings platform (four themes, 21 criteria). The pack’s EcoVadis view is an indicative mapping — your answers organised by EcoVadis themes so you arrive prepared. It is not the official EcoVadis questionnaire, and the document says so.
CDP SME
CDP is the global environmental disclosure system; large buyers invite their suppliers to respond. The pack maps your data to the climate modules of the CDP SME questionnaire (2026), so the numbers are ready when the invitation arrives.
Open the Buyer Pack and switch between the four tabs — every export stamps its version, source tags and gap list.
